Swyftx Rewards Aussies for Crypto Knowledge and Scam Coin Recognition

by Blockchaincubes

Australian cryptocurrency exchange Swyftx has introduced an innovative ‘Learn and Earn’ educational initiative aimed at enhancing Australians’ understanding of cryptocurrency. This educational platform seeks to equip individuals with crypto knowledge, particularly focusing on the recognition of scam coins, all while awaiting full industry regulation.

Tom Matthews, Head of Corporate Affairs at Swyftx, highlighted a significant increase in demand for blockchain technology education, especially during the recent bear market. Recognizing this growing need, Swyftx decided to incentivize Australians to gain insights into the crypto market and identify fraudulent coins.

Fundamental Analysis Course Launch

The first course, centered on fundamental analysis, is scheduled to launch on September 6. Swyftx plans to reward the first 4,000 Australians who complete this inaugural course with a $5 BTC payment as a token of recognition. Matthews emphasized the importance of such education, given the influx of millions of Australians into the digital asset market in recent years, with an anticipated 900,000 new entrants within the next 12 months.

Swyftx is also planning another course dedicated specifically to addressing cryptocurrency scams, expected to be released in the coming months. This course will focus on educating users about identifying traditional scams, understanding scammers and their tactics, and how to protect themselves.

Course Content

The first course, commencing soon, will feature modules covering various aspects of digital assets, including fundamental analysis, comprehension of a project’s product and use case, and the evaluation of a project’s tokenomics and financials.

Recent statistics from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the country’s consumer regulator, have revealed a worrisome increase of over 162% in Australian crypto scams, resulting in nearly $150 million in losses.

Matthews stressed the cryptocurrency industry’s crucial role in providing serious and comprehensive educational resources to empower crypto users with the knowledge required to navigate the market effectively. As the industry continues to evolve, initiatives like ‘Learn and Earn’ by Swyftx contribute to a safer and more informed crypto community in Australia.
